After many years of presenting seminars and workshops to members of alternative currency style communities like Bartercard, BBX and Qoin, John found that many of these businesses where members of an number of these types of communities and had to login to them all individually to checkout alternative currency spending opportunities.
This problem created the opportunity for the Alpha eMarkets to further evolve by enabling these businesses to create listings promoting their haves and needs and acceptance of their preferred alterative currencies as one of their payment methods.
The Alpha eMarket further evolved when John saw the growth of crypto style currencies and realised there was no known marketplace he could find that enabled sellers to create listings promoting to accept their preferred cryptos for the sale of their offerings.
Around the time the Alpha eMarket was being developed John's son Tylor applied for an AMEX card because he liked the features and benefits it provided but found it hard to find business who accepted the card so he could accumulate the points.
After much research John saw a need for the Alpha eMarket to also enable business to not only promote their offerings and their acceptance of AMEX, but also other payment methods such as Notes and Coins, Diners, Visa, Mastercard's and Afterpay to name a few.
John believes the Alpha eMarket model falls within the purpose and mission of the International Reciprocal Trade Association (IRTA) and is viewed by many participating in the alternative currency space as a major step forward in the growth, market acceptance and evolution in the promotion and use of alternative currencies. John said "What is good for those who use alternative currencies has to be good for the industry."

The Alpha eMarket enables business who believe in the use of alternative currencies to promote their acceptance alongside the other mainstream methods in an open market. This can only be positive move forward for those in the alternative currency industry as more businesses come to understand its profitable use as opposed to discounting.
John advocates the principals of “lassez faire” an economic doctrine that opposes governmental regulation and interference in commerce beyond the minimum necessary for a free enterprise system to operate according to its own economic law.
